Long Beach ROXX NY

Long Beach ROXX NY is a FREE annual event and live music concept, Produced by Long Beach New York Musician and Arts Advocate Joanne J-Bird Phillips and J-Bird Music For The Arts, Inc., supporting The Arts in Education. It is open to the general public and is like no other Rock Music Festival on Long Island! Hosted and sponsored in part by The Long Beach Public Library, the two have joined forces to bring you a unique and eclectic line-up of Rock Music entertainment, displaying the many different facets of the Rock 'n' Roll music genre, pleasing to both the eye and the ear, for ages 8-80. LB ROXX NY is proud to feature and support Established as well as Independent music artists.

J-Bird Music for The Arts, Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, enriching the Long Beach NY community as well as various locales in the NY State region. Its MISSION: To produce and present a variety of entertainment and events, to raise an awareness and garner much needed funding to support the dwindling Performing Arts & Music Programs in New York State education. The non-profit encourages the cooperation and synergy of various sources, such as educational organizations, private patrons, business sponsorship (both local and corporate), government agencies, cultural organizations and the Media, in its quest to achieve its purpose.
